REGISTRATION CLEANUP TOUR
Great that you are joining us on this important day! Waste in nature has an effect that we sometimes cannot imagine : ¾ of the waste remains in the water or soil as microplastics. Washed out by rain and carried by the water cycle, they can end up downstream in our rivers, lakes and even in the oceans. That’s why it’s important to pick up the litter lying around in nature, whether large or small. Let’s tackle it together.
Duration: Start between 09.00am and 10.00am and finish in the late afternoon.
Food: Bring a bottle of water, opt for reusable containers. Food will be provided afterwards.
Arrival: Individual arrival.
Mountain railways: Summit Foundation will cover the cost of the mountain railway.
Equipment: Wear closed shoes (trainers or hiking boots) and gloves. Summit Foundation will provide a certain number of gloves and rubbish bags. If you have your own gardening gloves, please bring them with you. Wear mountain-appropriate clothing and be prepared for quick weather changes (extra layers in case of bad weather). Bring sun protection (cap, sun cream, glasses).
